Guidelines for the Chinese Journal of Guidance and Counselling” editorial committee

Article 1. Establishment.

 
the “Journal of Chinese Guidance and Counselling” is published by the Taiwan Guidance and Counselling Association (TGCA). The editorial committee was established under the TGCA Statute, Article.16.
 
Article 2.
Editor-in-Chief.




 
The Editor-in-Chief is a pro-bono position that requires the services of one or two scholars who have experiences in research and publications. The term of service for the Editor-in-Chief is three years. The candidates shall initially be nominated by the current TGCA President and then approved by the executive committee board. The Chief editorship can be renewed under the approval of the committee board. To facilitate the transition , the current TGCA President should deliver his/her nomination of the candidate(s) for the incoming Editor-in-Chief no less than six months prior to the end of the current term.
Article 3. Editorial committee.

 
The Editor-in-Chief shall recommend one or two candidates for the associate Editor-in-Chief positions, and eleven to fifteen executive editors. All candidates shall be approved by the executive committee. The term of editorship is three years and can be renewed. All positions are pro-bono.
Article 4. Assistantship.
 
The committee provides a funded assistantship position to facilitate administrative work during the editorial process. The Editor-in-Chief can recommend potential candidates for the assistantship. Formal hiring is conducted under the committee’s approval.
Article 5.
Annual budget.
Budget is proposed annually, and then exercised under the approval of the executive committee.
 
Article 6.
 
Regular committee meetings take place on a six months basis. Provisional meetings can be arranged by the Editor-in-Chief if necessarily.
Article 7.
 
This guideline for editorship was approved by the editorial committee, so as for future amendments.
