Journal Policy

This academic journal is aimed at promoting the professional development and academic dialog among scholars in the fields of guidance and counselling. The journal mainly publishes original empirical researches or literature review related to counseling, guidance and psychology in Chinese-related cultures and populations, also welcomes submission of case study or research methodology related papers.

The CJGC aims to promote the research and academic exchange among scholars and in academia. We need your continuous support and contributions.

The Chinese journal of Guidance and Counseling is a fully open access journal, published under the auspices of the Chinese Guidance and Counseling Association. The journal releases three issues a year.
In 2006, the National Science Council (the predecessor of the Ministry of Science and Technology) started incorporating it on the TSSCI (Taiwan Social Science Citation Index) database list. The American Psychological Association (APA) also included our journal into the PsycINFO database in October 2007. What's more, EBSCO also included our journal into their database in February 2018.
