遊戲治療師需要特別的訓練以勝任兒童諮商工作,其中除了遊戲治療知識與技巧學習外,治療態度是更為重要的一環。治療態度是治療師所持有對協助個案的一套價值,是可以透過訓練與經驗而取得的某一種偏好模式,觀念與價值的習得比知識與技巧的獲取更不容易。從過去研究中可知,訓練對遊戲治療態度的改變呈現不穩定結果,本研究據此想探討遊戲治療態度的內涵究竟為何?經由前導性之調查研究對國內遊戲治療課程訓練對受訓者的影響做一基礎性瞭解,確立遊戲治療知識與技巧的取得是較容易透過訓練取得,而態度則是較為不明顯。為理解遊戲治療態度更細緻內涵,研究者訪談七位資深遊戲治療師收集更進一步的資料,透過質性分析方法,歸納出遊戲治療態度的四個主要內涵為遊戲治療師的兒童觀、遊戲治療關係、遊戲治療理念、與專業的認同與承諾。資深遊戲治療師是擁有越來越開闊包容的兒童觀、治療理念會越來越明確清楚、能在與兒童及重要成人的關係中謀取合作以建構有效的治療關係,而且能做專業承諾,願意以遊戲治療師自期。在研究討論的觀點基礎下,本研究提出對初學者、訓練者、與未來研究的建議。
