The purpose of this study was to explore the therapeutic effectiveness and the change process of a strength-centered career counseling (SCC) model. The participants (N = 4) were married dual career adults who were main home-care providers workinged more than 40 hours per week. The participants were two women and two men between the age of 34 to 41. They enrolled in the study after seeing recruitment posters. Each participant received three individual SCC treatments. One month after the treatments, they had one or two individual semi-structured depth interviews that took 70 to 90 minutes. The transcripts of three counseling sessions and the interviews were analyzed via the narrative method. The results included participants' story, counseling process, change experience, and impact after counseling. Results and recommendations for future study were also discussed.
