The purpose of this study is to explore the knowledge attribute of psychodynamics and learning process. Six professional therapists were interviewed. The major findings are: (1) the knowledge of psychodynamics is learned by personal subject experiences and is acceptable by other therapists. (2) The learning process focuses on methodology instead of the contents. (3) The best way to learn is being client by yourself. (4) The way to be aware of yourself is to become a dynamic approach therapist. (5) The major problem of a therapist in this approach is the narcissism needs of
learners. Implications for future research have been discussed.
