1997 5-8 A Study on the Relationships between Shyness and Ko's Mental Health Questionnaire The pupose of this study was to explore the relationships between Ko' s Mental Health Questionnaire and shyness,and to analyze the differences between males and females. The subjects were 312 college students. The data were statistical1y analyzed by Hotelling P test and canonical correlation. The conclusions were as follows: I.Sex was significantly different in the affection of Ko' s Mental Health questIonnaue. 2.There was no significant difference of shyness between males and females. 3.Ko‘s Mental Health Questionnaire for males could interpret 39.35% of variance ofshyness and for females could interpret 45.46% ofvariance ofshyness. The suggestions for reducing college students' shyness were discussed. |
