木研究進行有關社會圖類型、建構和解讀等方面文獻的分析。研究者建構了一個新的社會圖定義 。 從文獻中歸納出十種類型的社會圖，分別簡述建構方法，論析其優缺點，並提出六項擇選時可供評判的指標。最後，以靶狀社會圖為分析對象，則尋繹出卅二種類型的人際關係 。
